We are a government of Uttarakhand recognized Inter College situated in a valley surrounded by the low hills 30 km far from the Tehsil headquarter Gairsain (The summer Capital of Uttarakhand) district Chamoli. It was first established as a Junior High School in 1964 then upgraded to higher secondary in 1979 and senior secondary in 1991 now it has been reaffiliated to the CBSE as AUGIC.

We have well trained and highly educated, efficient teachers and staff who are capable to teach in both Hindi and English medium. The school have all the facilities for the students, i.e good and attractive building, labs, common rooms, library, staff-rooms, toilets for both boys and girls separately E-Learning and Virtual Lab, easily approachable by the road connectivity.

Subjects we teach- (Senior-secondary)- Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Economics, Political science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology.

Higher secondary- Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Social-Studies, Science, Maths, Home-science, (for girls) and physical education.

Extra co-carricular activities- Sports, Cultural activities, Yoga and Physical education, NSS, Eco-club, Science-club etc.

Govt. programms- MDM, free uniforms, all kind of stypends, free education up to 8th and Free education for girls upto 12th, Free Cycle Yojna (for Girls), Nanda-Gaura kanya dhan Yojna, all the rules of RTE followed.
